Dr Alexis Karamanos

Population Health Analyst and Research Associate

Alexis is a Population Health Analyst for the London Borough of Hackney and the City of London corporation, and a Research Associate in Social Epidemiology and Public Health at King’s College London. He is interested in the social, economic, and political determinants of human development, and health inequalities over the life course. Alexis holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He also holds an MSc in Health and Society: Social Epidemiology from University College London (UCL), which was funded by the Onassis Foundation, and a PhD in Population Health from UCL which was funded by the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
